Plain English Summary: Rehome is a platform for verified animal welfare. We strictly prohibit charging holding deposits, selling animals for profit, publishing stolen photos, or misleading adopters regarding bite or health history.
1. Zero Holding Deposits Rule
Users are strictly prohibited from soliciting holding fees, reservations deposits, or courier fees before an in-person meeting has been conducted. Violations result in permanent suspension.
2. Honest Listing Obligations
Listing creators must provide accurate, unvarnished descriptions of known behavioral issues, bite history, and medical conditions. Unknown traits must be explicitly noted rather than assumed.
3. Scope of Liability
Rehome facilitates record management and discovery between verified independent parties. Final adoption contracts and physical handovers are executed between the shelter or owner and the adopter.
